June 24, 2008 – Iola Peter John Garvey of Estate Williams Delight died on Wednesday, June 18, at her residence. She was 62 years old.
She is survived by her spouse, Jacob Emanuel Garvey; daughter, Alicia L. Garvey, sons: Rodger Hector, Chris E., Euclin, Elvin, Mervin and Ervin Garvey; mother, Ella E. Davis; and father, Victor E. John. She is also survived by grandchildren: Natoree Garvey, Angel and Rolando Guatier Jr.; sisters: Eunice Henry, Elida Ledesma, Naomi John, Lorna King, Carolyn Thomas, Cecelia Lawrance, Idona Benjamin and Celestina Green; brothers: Alfred John and Jose' Felix; aunt, Agnes Davis; uncle, Kato Davis; and special friends: Esterlyn Asson and Millie Marso; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, July 1, at the Church of God of Prophecy, Frederiksted. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
