What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

May 28, 2008 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1-3 p.m., on Sunday, June 1. This Sunday we will feature music by Neil Diamond, Martha Berner, Louisiana Red, Joe Cocker, the Beatles and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Home Before Dark" by Neil Diamond. His new release is the second consecutive one produced by Rick Rubin. Once again, Diamond and Rubin use a stripped-down sound approach similar to the approach used in Johnny Cash's last few releases.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Ten Tiny Little Pieces E.P." from Chicago contemporary folk singer Martha Berner. Martha lived here for a period of time about ten years ago and recently returned for a few St. Thomas dates.
We play new music from Tab Benoit, Kathy Mattea, Joe Cocker, Erica Wheeler and more.
We also play music from the Beatles, Linda Ronstadt, Louisiana Red, Savoy Brown, Guitar Shorty and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones, Nelson Riddle, and Marie Knight, and we remember David Ruffin of the Temptations and Sonny Boy Williamson on the anniversary of their deaths.

We give away a blues CD from Seth Walker along with a CD from blues and gospel icon Marie Knight, and we also give away a CD from the Brian Setzer Orchestra. Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line and Sinker; Molly Molones; and St. Thomas Radiology Associates.
