What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

May 20, 2008 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1-3 p.m., on Sunday, May 25. This Sunday we will feature music by Lizz Wright, Danielle Evin, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Billie Holiday, Arthur Gunter, Jerry Bulter and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "The Orchard" by Lizz Wright. Lizz has a great voice and puts together a really fine mix of jazz and pop sounds. Her voice is smooth as silk, and she has impeccable taste in her song selections.
The Indie Spotlight CD is singer-songwriter Danielle Evin. Evin's CD is simply titled "Danielle Evin." Her new release is getting fine reviews.
We play new music from Dave Crossland, What Made Milwaukee Famous, Kathleen Edwards and more.
We also play music from Jerry Jeff Walker, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Billie Holiday, Hound Dog Taylor and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of Carrie Newcomer, Jessi Colter, Bill "Bojangles" Robinson, Cody Canada of Cross Canadian Ragweed and blues man Arthur Gunter. We remember blues legend Sonny Boy Williamson I on the anniversary of his death.
We include music from Jerry Butler, who will be performing at the BVI Music Fest on Sunday, May 25.

We give away an EP featuring highlights from the Band Tribute album, and we give away the new CD from Noel Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul and Mary fame.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line and Sinker; Molly Molones; and St. Thomas Radiology Associates.
