The Convention Is Wasting Tax Dollars

Dear Source:

The latest remarks and views of some of the delegates, along with the lack of production, show us another example of government waste. Here is a list of other items that could be dealt with in part using the money allowed for this convention.
1. pay off part of WAPA government bill to help keep them from going up on
our rates
2. repair damaged schools and goverment buildings that are no longer usable
due to mold, etc.
3. put the money in tourism marketing/advertising to balance out the drop in
the tourism this year.
4. put in new camera systems or other equipment for the police.
5. give it away to charties on the islands
Anything would be better than the waste that is taking place. Make these delegates continue this on their own dollar. Quit spending our tax dollars without producing some results.
