May 9, 2008 – Strength – Strength Inc., in collaboration with Life Water Production, Perfection Ice Cream and Ocean Front Rentals, presents "Echoes of Caribbean Writing." The reading will feature one of the Caribbean's cornerstone female writers, Yvonne Weekes, who will present her newly published book: "VOLCANO! Memoirs Of Writing."
The event will be held on May 17 and 18, at Arian's Bar & Restaurant, Sub Base, St. Thomas. Also featured will be community poets and drummers. Admission is $10 at the door, which will help to continue the Strength – Strength Awareness Lecture Series.
