VING to Conduct Self-Esteem Workshop for Young Women

The Virgin Islands National Guard Family Program Office will conduct a Self Esteem Workshop for young women ages 12-18. It will be held from 3-5 p.m., on Sunday, Jan. 20, at the Lt. Col. Lionel A. Jackson Armory in Estate Bethlehem, St. Croix.
It will include a prevention specialist from the V.I. Department of Health and Human Services. Topics will include discussion on culture, how to seek motivation from within and not from external stimuli, and relations with peers, both male and female. Admission is free, but parents or guardians must reserve a space by Monday, Jan. 14.
