What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

Dec. 12, 2007 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 16. This Sunday we will feature music by David Gray, Patti DeRosa, Kilborn Alley Blues Band, Martha Carson, Dusty Springfield, Ellis Hooks and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Greatest Hits" from British singer-songwriter David Gray. The CD has all of Gray's biggest hits including his best-known song, "Babylon."
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Secrets and Stories" from Patti DeRosa. This is a fine new effort from Patti, who played in the Virgin Islands a couple of years ago. Vance Gilbert guests on this new release.
We play new music from Ellis Hooks, Eliza Gilkyson, the Kilborn Alley Blues Band and more.
We also play music from Dusty Springfield, Van Wilks, Sara Hickman, Ruthie Foster, John Lee Hooker and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of producer Shelby Singleton, blues artist Sugar Blue and Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top. We remember gospel artist Martha Carson, Nicolette Larson and country singer Gary Stewart on the anniversary of their deaths.

We give away a copy of Lisa Haley's new Grammy-nominated zydeco CD, "King Cake." We also give away a great CD of blues and jazz guitar instrumentals from Robben Ford and Larry Carlton.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line and Sinker; Molly Molones; and St. Thomas Radiology Associates.
