Sprauve School to Hold Fathers' Breakfast

Oct. 17, 2007 – The faculty and staff at the Julius E. Sprauve School will host a Fathers’ Breakfast at 8:30 a.m., Friday, Oct. 26, in the school cafeteria, according to a press release from Mario Francis, principal of the school.
“This breakfast is being held in honor of Sprauve School fathers and in concert with the component of the Julius Sprauve School Plan that speaks to increasing parental participation. We realize that fathers are not always the persons who are involved with the daily activities of their children’s educational lives so we are making this special effort to welcome them to that experience.” Francis said.
“We want our school fathers to know that it is important that they have input and that we need, their children need, them to be an integral part of the process,” he added.
During the breakfast, presentations will be made by community clergy and the keynote address by Sen. Carlton Dowe.
