Hubert Alexander Hurdle Dead at 84

Oct. 13, 2007 – Hubert Alexander Hurdle of Estate Barren Spot died on Oct. 7, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Eunice Tyrell Hurdle; daughters: Ivorene David and Lee Almond; son, Rudy Hurdle Sr.; stepdaughters: Monica Walters and Patricia Clifton; and adopted daughter, Sonia Leonard. He is also survived by granddaughters: Leona Williams, Leila Williams, Sherese Hendrickson Janette Hurdle, Ena Hurdle, Uninice Hurdle, Towana Hurdle-Neal, Temple Almond, and Naquashia and Shemekia Hurdle; grandsons: Lucien and Malcolm Williams, Antonio, Tony Danelle and Eugene Hurdle Jr., and Sheldon, Brian, Shawn, Douge and Kivad Hendrickson; 34 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; six step-grandchildren; 14 adopted grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The first viewing will be held from 3-5 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 18, at the James Memorial Funeral Home. A second viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m., on Friday, Oct. 19, at Midland Wesleyan Holiness Church in Estate Colquhoun. It will be followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Veterans Section of the Kingshill Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
