Red Hook Community Alliance Plans Salt Pond Cleanup

Sept. 27, 2007 – The fourth community-wide cleanup effort of the Red Hook Saltpond will take place at 8 a.m., on Saturday Sept. 29. The main objective will be the waterside of the Saltpond. Red Hook Community Alliance will join with Ivanna Eudora Kean High School JROTC for Coast Week.
Volunteers are asked to wear long pants, work shoes, a long sleeved shirt and gloves. Water and trash bags will be provided. First-aid kits and hand sanitizer will be available. Participants will meet at 8 a.m., at the ferry terminal. RHCA is partnering with the Virgin Islands Division of Fish and Wildlife on this project.
