Roger Minkoff Named to Posts with Cabela’s Trophy Properties

July 23, 2007 — Roger B. Minkoff, CIPS, ABR, GRI, principal broker with Minkoff and Associates, Realtors, LLC, has recently been appointed the exclusive Cabela's Trophy Properties (CTP) participating broker for the Virgin Islands.
“Well known for expertise” in V.I. and international real estate as a certified international property specialist (CIPS), an accredited buyer representative (ABR) and graduate of the Realtors Institute (GRI), Minkoff has also been appointed the exclusive international region manager, according to a news release from Cabela’s.
In 2004, Cabela's began CTP, a recreational real estate listing service. Cabela's is a N.Y. Stock Exchange-listed company with more than $2 billion in annual sales.
“The benefits to real-estate buyers and sellers in the Virgin Islands can be enormous,” Minkoff said. “CTP is a superior listing and selling tool. No one else can offer this exposure for recreational properties.”
Working directly with or through participating brokers such as Minkoff & Associates, sellers of recreational real estate can now list their property for sale directly with Minkoff. Additionally, all Realtors in the territory can be part of the program, participating with their client's listings in a co-marketing agreement with Minkoff, the release said.
CTP currently has 65 participating brokers and 124 subscribing sales agents in the United States, portions of Canada, Mexico, Belize and South Africa.
“With my extensive background in real estate and land development, and my love of nature and the environment, as an avid outdoorsman, hiking, hunting, fishing, spearfishing, snorkeling, boating and diving being my avocation, I'll now have the opportunity to really mix business and pleasure,” Minkoff said.
