Education HR Seeks Rentals for Teachers

July 3, 2007 – The Department of Education is soliciting local property owners to assist them with listings of rental properties for occupancy by teachers during the upcoming school year. The listings, which will be posted at the division's offices, are made available to teachers who have relocated to the territory and are in need of housing accommodations, according to a press release from Education Human Resource Director Alscess Lewis-Brown.
Brown said, "In our on-going recruitment efforts we try as best as we can to provide our new residents with a complete package that consists of information relative to the territory and that includes options for housing. Interested property owners are encouraged to submit their listings to the HR Offices in their respective district."
