April 19, 2007 – Ramona E. Hansby Varlack of Contant No. 187, died on April 16, at her residence. She was 94 years old.
She is survived by her son, Clarence Hansby Jr.; daughters: Eulita Jacobs, Evangeline Gruel, Ellarina David, Edris Hunter, Marion Brooks and Grace Wilson. Other survivors include adopted son, Roosevelt Lee; daughter-in-law, Joan Hansby; son-in-law, Donald Brooks; 23 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, and 19 great great-grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 5-7 p.m., on Monday, April 30, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will take place from 9-10 a.m., on Tuesday, May 1, at Frederick Lutheran Church, followed by a funeral service, at 10 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 2.
