Drag Racing Can be a Money Maker

Dear Source,
Drag Racing can actually become a money maker, just as it is on the mainland, so investing $400,000 isn't the boondoggle it might seem. Drag racing is known for providing entertainment through ticket sales; sponsorship money through names on vehicles and on track signage; jobs for the people who support the track, sell the parts for the vehicles and their engines, and work on the cars; advertising income for radio and local TV coverage of races; and drag racing a wholesome way to channel the interests and energies of young people in our communities (and older people too, who want to recapture their pasts or the pasts they wanted).
