Students to Celebrate Black Caribbean History

Feb. 24, 2007 – In observance of Black History Month and the upcoming celebration of the 90th anniversary of Transfer Day, students at Joseph Sibilly Elementary School will present "A Parade of Caribbean Nations." The event will begin at 9 a.m., on Friday, March 2, in the courtyard at the main campus. It will present cultural aspects of 11 Caribbean islands, according to a press release from Principal Dora Hill.
