Feb. 22, 2007 – The St. Thomas Bridge Club has announced its first and second place winners for the games held during the week of Feb. 12. On Monday, Feb. 12, Marilyn Eddy and partner Marilyn Fredericks tied for first place with J.P. Coopee and Justine Flashman. On Feb. 14, Natalie Weintraub and Rhona Presnky were first, and Subie Reichenbach and Bette Davis were second in the afternoon game. On Feb. 15, the first place winners were (North-South) Barbara Hollingsworth and Natalie Weintraub. Marianne Avery and Joy Stanley were the second place winners. The East-West winners were Justine Flashman and J.P. Coopee (first place) and Gladys Krasner and Harvey Krasner (second place).
The club plays on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Lessons for beginners are held on Tuesday evening. Interested persons should call Barbara Hollingsworth at 775-6184.
