Mt. Victory Fundraiser to Help Students

April 9, 2006 – Mt. Victory's co-owner Mathilde Wilson is doing what she can to help students in her native island of Haiti.
On Easter, she and her husband Bruce are holding their annual fundraiser at Mt Victory Camp. There will be live music and a full island pig roast.
Bruce calls this Mt Victory's biggest event of the year.
Haiti Community Support, which will receive the proceeds, is a group giving money directly to a small village in Haiti's southern mountains. It's the area where Mathilde was born. The group is running elementary schools in the area with 120 children learning to read and write thanks to support from the Virgin Islands.
This year's event will raise the money to keep our schools open with teacher pay, daily meal for the kids, school supplies and building expenses.
For more information call the Wilsons at 772-1651 or e-mail mtvictory@unitedstates.vi.
