Fort Frederik Museum Open for Transfer Day

March 31, 2006 – The Fort Frederik Museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Friday, March 31, in commemoration of "Transfer Day."
The Transfer Display, which includes an art exhibit and a documentary film on the Transfer of the Danish West Indies to the United States Government, will continue to be on display until April 12.
This documentary is an historical account of the events that led up to the sale of the islands and the Transfer ceremony. Admission is free on Friday, March 31, and the community is encouraged to attend.
