Barshinger Invites St. John Residents to Town Meeting

Nov. 25, 2005 – The residents of St. John are invited to a town meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, sponsored by Sen. Craig Barshinger. The meeting, which will take place at the Westin Resort Conference Room, will focus on building permits and parking – concerns previously raised by residents.
Commissioner Dean Plaskett of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources, along with his staff, will be on hand to answer any questions. Residents with questions for DPNR can submit them in advance to Sen. Barshinger's office, in order to allow the agency's representatives to research the answers.
"DPNR will be on St. John for its Nonpoint Source Pollution Conference at that time, and have agreed to meet with the residents," Barshinger said. "I am grateful that the St. John residents will have an opportunity to meet with DPNR because of the many pressing concerns that they are clamoring to have addressed."
For more information or to submit questions, call the St. John office of Sen. Craig Barshinger at 693-8061.
