Story Hour Set for Saturday Morning

Oct. 24, 2005 – Children stories will be read aloud at the gazebo in Fort Christiansvaern park at 11 a.m. on Oct. 29. Organizers, in a press release, say it promises to be a fun-filled way to spend a Saturday morning.Guest readers include Dr. LaVerne Ragster, president of the University of the Virgin Islands, and Angela E. Weber, the creator and host of the Seasonal Story Hour series.This event is coordinated to encourage reading and community service. It is free to the public. Each child will receive a free book for participating. Everyone is encouraged to come.
