Oct. 6, 2005 – The Department of Tourism is seeking the participation of several Virgin Islands Carnival troupes for the Caribbean Tourism Conference's St. Thomas Extravaganza. It will be held on Monday, Oct. 24, from 7-10 p.m., at the West Indian Company Dock.
Carnival troupes are being recruited to be part of a cultural parade during this Extravaganza, which is a private event.
