Gregory 'Big Youth' Davis Dies at 46

Sept. 19, 2005 – Gregory Davis, who is also known as "Big Youth," died on Thursday, Sept. 8, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He lived in Peter's Resort and was 46 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Estella Davis; companion, May Jay Rivera; seven children: Tyanne, Natasha, Loulina, Nijiema, Akeem, Raheem and Rasheem Davis; and three grandchildren: Rashad Davis, Toquan Francis and Tinyra Khalil. He is also survived by sisters: Diane Bridges, Denise Andreas, Eileen and Laverne Davis; and brothers: David, Ronald, Clinton, Lorne and Rodney Davis. Other survivors include stepfather, Rosendo Rivera, many stepchildren and step-grandchildren, and family members and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing on Friday, Sept. 23, at 10 a.m., at the Holy Cross Catholic Church followed by a 10:30 funeral service. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
