Traffic Alert: VIPD Produces List of Stolen Vehicles on St. Croix

July 11, 2005 – In an effort to stem the tide of stolen vehicles and in the hope of recovering some of them, the V.I. Police Department has issued a list of the vehicles that have been reported stolen since mid-May.
Sgt. Thomas Hannah, police public information officer, said Monday the list will soon be provided weekly and even more often, when possible or necessary.
Currently he can only provide lists for St. Croix, but Hannah said he is working to provide the same information for St. Thomas.
"Two detectives have been assigned on St. Croix to track stolen vehicles. " Hannah said.
They are Detectives Walton Jack and Robert Matthews.
Here is the current list of stolen vehicles.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of any of the listed vehicles, or who may have recovered one of the vehicles is asked to contact the VIPD Auto Theft Unit at 778-2211, extension 6041 or 6042, or Jack at 690-5419 or Matthews at 513-9079.
