Viola Monsanto Dies at Age 101

June 29, 2005 – Viola Monsanto of St. Thomas died on June 29, at the age of 101. She is survived by two daughters, Dorris Monsanto and Clarice Monsanto-Roper; a son-in-law, Rolando Roper; and two nieces, Beryl Simmons Samuel and Eldra Simmons. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Glenn, Hazel, Jocelyn, and Anselmo Roper, and Beverly Roper-Archer.
The first viewing will be Wednesday, July 6 at 5-7 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home. The second viewing will be on Thursday, July 7 at 9-10 a.m. at the City Seventh Day Adventist followed by funeral services at 10 a.m.
