March 29, 2005 – A funeral service will be held Monday for Herwin Lewis, 73, who died Thursday, March 24 at the Roy L. Schneider Hospital.
Lewis, a resident of Nadir, was also known as Irvin and was well-known retired concrete driver for Devcon International Corp.
Lewis is survived by his wife, Jean Lewis; sons Holiston Lewis of St. Thomas and Sammy Lewis of Antigua; daughters Sandra George of Virginia and Lin Lewis of England; brothers, Leroy Lewis, Walbridge Lewis and Telford Lewis; sisters Gwen Lewis, Vanda Lewis, Carmen Wilkenson, Candaisy Emanuel, Edris Charles and Jenetia Lewis; grandchildren Anida and Akeem George, Lovell Lewis, Rica Lewis-Jackson, David Jackson, Natasha Chariese and St. Clair Lewis.
A viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Davis Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m.
