WAPA Has Money Saving Tips at Ag Fair

Feb. 17, 2005 — The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority invites the general public to visit its booth at the Ag Fair this weekend.
Residents can learn how to read their electic meters and calculate their utility bills at seminars that will be held at the WAPA tent. Energy conservation tips and money saving methods will also be available. Customer service and meter reading consultants will be on hand to address specific customer concerns.
The display will give customers a first hand look at how certain appliances are more energy efficient than others. Customers will learn how energy consumption directly impacts the final cost on electric and water bills.
