WILLIAM FERGUSON MEMORIAL MAY 16

May 8, 2004 – A. William "Fergie" Ferguson, 54, a well-known captain and St. Thomas restaurant owner, died in his sleep from a heart attack.
Buried in Glasgow, Va, his hometown on April 30, 2004, he is survived by his wife Brenda, daughter Tammy, stepson Carter and three grandchildren; Brea, Dalton and Shanna. He also left behind many loving friends as well as his two dogs; Thurston and Skipper.
"Fergie" and his wife Brenda moved to St. Thomas in 1992, carrying with them many years of love for the sea and following their expertise in restaurant management and ownership. Fergie left a lasting impression in most everyone he met with his "bigger than life" personality and his love for making people smile and laugh. Many residents and friends throughout many of the Virgin Islands will so dearly miss him.
His wife and close friends Frank and Terrie Pantusco at the Caribbean Saloon in Red Hook will hold a memorial on Sunday, May 16 from 6 to 10 p.m.
The family has established a fund in his name at the St. Thomas Humane Society (4041 Estate Nadir #26, St. Thomas, VI 00802 340-775-0599 for those interested in making a donation in his memory.
