FUNERAL IS FRIDAY FOR DR. CARLTON HODGSON

Jan. 15, 2004 – The funeral for Dr. Carlton R. Hodgson will be Friday on St. Croix, according to a release from the Office of the Governor.
Gov. Charles W. Turnbull extended condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Hodgson, who was St. Croix District Health Officer.
Dr. Hodgson, a long-time St. Croix resident, was born in New York. He served two years in the U.S. Army, assigned to the Walter Reed Hospital in Maryland, the release said. He received his degrees from Fisk University, Mehary Medical College and Basal University. His writings were published in several medical publications and he was affiliated with numerous medical societies. He was listed in Who's Who in American in the 1951-1952 volume.
No information about survivors or details of the funeral service have been received.
