R. PAUL LILLICO DEAD AT 76

Dec. 24, 2003 – R. Paul Lillico, 76, died Dec. 14 at Roy L. Schneider Hospital after an extended battle with lung cancer. Lillico, son of the late Ernest Lillico and Clara Elizabeth Dodds Lillico, was born on Dec. 22, 1926, in Ontario, Canada. He was an accountant by profession, having served the St. Thomas community for over 42 years. He also practiced accounting on other Caribbean islands including Haiti and Puerto Rico. Paul enjoyed theater and was an active member of the St. Thomas Bridge Club.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Peter Newman of Ontario, Canada; special friend Rosemary Sauter-Frett; and numerous extended family members and friends.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, at the home of Tom Bolt and Jeni Smith, "On the Rocks," at Morning Star Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorials be made to: The Humane Society of St. Thomas, 7041 Nadir #26, St. Thomas VI 00802.
