SECURITY TIGHTENED AT ST. CROIX SENATE

Oct. 22, 2003 — The Senate has beefed up security at the Lagoon Street Legislative office building in Frederiksted. A single entrance to the complex will now be used instead of the several entrances available in the past. Visitors will be subject to "a brief checkpoint," according to a statement from the Legislature. All access points other than the northern entrance have been converted to emergency exits only.
