World Food Day will be observed from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, on UVI's St. Croix campus. There will be educational workshops on goat, avocado and cucumber production; food demonstrations; games for children; guided tours of research facilities; a food vendors court; a farmers market; and a cook-off competition.
