MANDAHL ROAD TO CLOSE IN 2 PHASES FOR REPAVING

May 22, 2003 – Mandahl Road, also known as Route 42, will be closed to through traffic during the day in two phases for repairs and repaving in late May and early June, according to a Public Works Department release.
The stretch between Magens Bay Road and Peace Corps School will be closed from next Tuesday through June 2 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The section from Peace Corps School to the Donoe Bypass will be closed from June 3 onward for approximately five days, also between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Access will allowed to area residents and emergency vehicles at all times, the release said. There will be detour signs and flaggers on duty to assist motorists.
