April 27, 2003 – Here's a plan so parents will know what the kids did this summer: The Summer Arts Institute of the V.I. Institute of Performing Arts will accept 40 students between the ages of 5 and 11.
The six-week program, from June 23 to Aug. 1, will include snack, lunch and field trips each week. Scheduled activities will cover the arts fields: arts and crafts, ballet, cultural dance, gymnastics, hip-hop, jazz, tai chi, tap and voice.
Registrations will be accepted from June 9 to 20.
The cost is $450, with payment plans and sibling discounts available, said a release. Insurance fee is $25. For more information, call Ingrid Thomas at VIIPA 777-9110 Monday through Friday from 3:30 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
