SUBBASE COURTS TO BE REPAIRED

June 14, 2002 – The Subbase tennis and paddleball courts will be closed for repairs from Monday, June 17, to Wednesday, July 31.
Ira M. Hobson, Department of Housing, Parks and Recreation Commissioner, said the repairs will include the replacement of the perimeter fencing and windscreen, paving and resurfacing of the paddlebball court, resurfacing of the tennis court and other general repairs to the bleachers and restrooms.
The inconvenience to the tennis and paddleball players who use the facility will be offset by the improved facility, according to Commissioner Hobson.
