NATURIST ADVOCATES SAY BAN WILL KEEP THEM AWAY

Dear Source,
Thank you for publishing Richard Spacer's letter, "Writer objects to ticketing of skinny-dippers", regarding the National Park Service and its actions against naturalists on St. John beaches.
We have vacationed on St. John nine times in the last seven years and totally agree with Richard's comments and oppose the NPS actions regarding naturists on Salomon Beach. If this situation is not positively addressed immediately by the NPS, the St. Thomas-St. John Hotel and Tourism Association and the V.I. Tourism Department, we will cancel our scheduled February trip — to enjoy another location in the Caribbean that accepts naturalists.
Explain that to the owners and employees of Delta Air Lines, Gallows Point Resort, Coral Bay Jewelers, Verace Jewelry and Blue Carib Gems, as well as the numerous restaurants and taxis we patronize while vacationing.
Terry A. Hodous and Diana Ellmo
Chicago
