The Education Department announced Thursday that paychecks for striking teachers would be distributed at the usual locations.
Commissioner Ruby Simmonds asked the teachers to leave strike-related placards and signs outside the facilities where they would be picking up their checks and to "conduct themselves in an orderly manner so that the distribution process may be handled expeditiously. "
