St. Thomas made a good showing in the fight against breast cancer by coming out strong for the Third Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Two-Mile Fun Run/Walk.
Although 180 persons actively participated in the event, 215 persons made donations and showed up to help with the race benefitting the St Thomas Cancer Society.
The two-mile fun run/walk began at Port of Sale Mall by The Comfort Zone the sponsor of the event. The runners and walkers made two loops of the Havensight Mall area. All finishers received commemorative medals.
There were seven age groups for the finishers to place in. The winners of the respective age groups are:
