Port of $ale Mall businesses and the St. Thomas Association of Roadrunners are sponsoring the third annual Making Strides against Breast Cancer, 2 mile fun run/walk to benefit the St. Thomas/St. John Unit of the American Cancer Society at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15.
The course will loop around the Port of $ale Mall.
There will be awards to the top male and female finisher and for first, second and third place in 7 categories. Each finisher will receive a commemorative victory medal.
Refreshments and music will be provided.
Participants can register at any business in the Port of $ale Mall during business hours or at Players in Havensight Mall or Going Senile on the Waterfront.
Early registration is $3 for youths 18 and under and $5 for adults. Registration for all ages on the day of the race is $8.
