COMMUNITY HEALTH CLINICS CLOSED TUESDAY

The Community Health Clinics at the Roy L. Schneider Hospital will be closed Tuesday while the computer system is updated.
With the installation of the new software patients will be required to provide a photo ID, proof of a physical mailing address, insurance coverage where applicable or a Medicaid or Medicare card.
If patients intend to pay directly for services they must provide proof of income or pay cash at the time service is rendered, according to a release from the Health Department.
Once the documentation has been provided it will become part of the new computerized record system for future visits.
The new HealthPro system is scheduled to be installed at all Health Department clinics and is expected to increase efficiency.
