KADY JOSEPH IS FIRST WOMAN IN ULTRASPRINT

Kady Joseph, a student at Charlotte Amalie High School, came in second in Sunday's ultrasprint.
The annual Ultrasprint Road Race to commemorate Black History Month started at 7:30 a.m. in Subbase.
The youth division was comprised of the Lenahan children, Johnny, Harry, and Francie. They finished their half mile course with Johnny coming in first in 4:18, followed by Harry in 4:24, and Francie in 5:23. The five adults ran a one mile race led by Dale Joseph, the track coach at Charlotte Amalie High School, in a time of 6:11.
He was followed by Joseph with a time of 6:34.
Roi Simmonds came in next in a time of 6:37. Kevin Lenahan ran in with a time of 9:14 and Carol Lenahan followed him in 9:01.
