MAN FOUND DEAD IN HARBOR

The body of a man was found floating in the Charlotte Amalie harbor at 3:40 p.m. Sunday.
Police said they have identified the dead man, but have not release his name pending notification of next of kin.
Jose Carrillo found the body as he was docking his boat near the Vendors Plaza area of the waterfront. He notified the police, who pulled the body from the water.
A release from Police Chief Jose Garcia said the man was black, of medium build, 5 feet 11 inches tall and about 30 years old. He was wearing a pair of short blue jean pants, no shirt and no shoes, the release said. He had braided hair and a full beard and mustache.
Garcia said an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
