THE NEW GENERATION: NEW ENTERTAINMENT

It is time for the new generation. Technology has brought society to new
heights. Its primal target, entertainment.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BE LOOKING OUT FOR:
Japanese animation or anime is new to the U.S. and very hot. There seems to be no shortage of steam to drive this new artistic form of entertainment to the top of television ratings.
The Cartoon Network has announced the establishment of a new channel dedicated to all Hanna-Barbera cartoons. With this, Cartoon Network's Toonami, now holding the highest TV ratings among adolescent TV viewers, has said that they are making plans to expand their animation titles with the
encouragement of anime fans and viewers. Go online to cartoonnetwork.com to give your support and submit a list of your favorite animation to televise on Toonami. When asked about creating a fully dedicated Japanese animation channel, the Cartoon Network says that it is not in their plans for the immediate future.
The demand for animation is hard to ignore. Some investors are skeptical.
An alarming rate of popularity usually means volatility. But now, anime distributors are facing back orders on their popular animated releases that have obviously gained the interest of consumers who are looking for that new form of entertainment.
Sony intends to bring to TV a more recent and successful animation title called Ruroni Kenshin. The rights of this animated series has been gained by Media Blasters and ADV Films who plan to corporate their video and DVD distribution. Ruroni Kenshin is a huge, hard hitting, graphical genius, climactic romance, samurai sword fighting, animated series, with a best-selling story plot to keep both kids, teens, and adults interested. If Sony is successful in bringing it to television, it will be the first animated series of its kind to be viewed on U.S. television. This is something you really want to lookout for.
But it does not stop there!

ADVICE TO PARENTS:
The holiday season is coming up fast. If you are considering shopping for anime theme toys and games, get them early. Whether doing local shopping, catalog orders, or ordering online, it is very likely that these popular items will go out of stock coming close to Christmas Day. All new Dragon Ball Z action figures are making their way to the open market, just in time
for the holidays. Shop around for great prices. Early online shopping usually gives good discounts.
