The legendary Duke Ellington gets the second St. Thomas tribute of his centennial year Saturday, when the University of the Virgin Islands Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Martin J. Lamkin presents its annual fall concert in the campus cafeteria. The music of both Ellington and his longtime collaborator Billy Strayhorn will be featured, with special appearances by Lamkin's UVI music faculty colleagues Austin Venzen and Lorna Young-Wright.
