RED CROSS OFFERING PUBLIC AFFAIRS COURSE

The St. Thomas/St. John Chapter of the American Red Cross is offering a training course for persons interested in becoming disaster public affairs volunteers.
The course will be held on Saturday, Aug. 28, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Red Cross office on the second floor of Nisky Center.
Public affairs volunteers' duties include preparing stories and taking pictures prior to and after a community disaster. To pre-register for the course or to learn more, call 774-0375.
