BANCO POPULAR OPENS HIBISCUS ALLEY BRANCH

Banco Popular will officially open the doors Monday, May 10, to the Charlotte Amalie Hibiscus Alley branch.
The new center in the downtown business district is convenient to the bank's retail and residential clientele. The Hibiscus Alley branch, located on the waterfront at Dronningens Gade, will replace the former Charlotte Amalie branch, which closed Friday, May 7.
"Our goal is to improve and diversify services as we maximize customer relationships" said Valentino I. McBean, senior vice president and Virgin Islands regional manager for Banco Popular. "Towards this goal, we will provide convenient banking centers, accessible and time saving technology, and knowledgeable professionals."
According to Hibiscus Branch manager Ana Aponte, the branch is situated for walk-in convenience. "Our downtown business customers require increased 24-hour retail convenience which this new branch will provide."
Banco Popular has eight Virgin Islands branches: Hibiscus Alley,
Fort Mylner, Sugar Estate, Red Hook and the new Altona main branch and regional offices on St. Thomas; Orange Grove and Sunny Isle on St. Croix; and Road Town in Tortola.
