FOUR TEAMS LEFT ON FINAL DAY OF QUIZ BOWL

The undefeated All Saints Vanguards lead the Antilles School Brainstorms, Country Day Tigers and St. Joseph Saints into the last day of competition in the 1999 Academic Quiz Bowl.
CAHS Presidential Scholars, Central High School Caribs, Eudora Kean Rays of Knowledge, Sts. Peter and Paul Jaguars, and Good Hope Falcons sustained two losses and were eliminated after two days of the round robin double elimination tourney according to WVWI Radio One.
Country Day School was involved in two of the closest games on Monday. They came out ahead of St. Joseph's 230 to 225, but fell to defending champion All Saints 275 to 225.
Game 14 will start at 8:30 a.m. today, with All Saints at 4-0, and the remaining teams all with 2-1 records after playing three games each.
