HUMAN SERVICES GRANT CHECKS DELAYED

Individual and Family Grant program applicants who were awarded assistance between Dec. 2 and 28 should receive their checks by March 31, Human Services Commissioner Sedonie Halbert has announced.
She apologized for the long delay and said in a press release from Government House that she would advise other award recipients of their payment dates as soon as the information was available.
Her release did not explain how many people are affected by the delayed checks or why the payments are late.
