Raymond Miles Plaskett of Estate Marienhoj died on June 3, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 78 years old.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Ella Rosa Agatha Clendinen Plaskett; father, Clifford Miles Plaskett; sisters: Eugenia Slater LaFranque, Helena Plaskett Rhymer and Hortence Plaskett George; brothers: Lloyd Plaskett, Earl Slater, John Plaskett and Malcolm Plaskett.
He is survived by his daughter, Lynn Plaskett Jenkins; sons: Miles Lawrence Plaskett and Dean-Cliffor Plaskett; grandchildren: De’ Jon E. Jenkins, Chenise L.E. Jenkins, Amira Plaskett, Dean Raymond Plaskett, Miles L. Plaskett II, Marc L. Plaskett, Celina Richardson and Leigh Ann Richardson; great-grandchildren: Aphrodite L. Cordova-Jenkins and Breena J. Cordova-Jenkins; daughters-in-law: Darice Plaskett and Lisette Plaskett; son-in-law, Lawrence Jenkins; sisters: Ivy Plaskett John and Beatrice Plaskett Simmonds; brothers: Ulric Plaskett, Leroy Plaskett and Lawrence Plaskett MD; and nieces: Adele, Loretta and Denice LaFranque, Myra Cotton, Rochelle Jackson MD, Alena Plaskett, Myrna Cook, Jo-Ann Edwards, Brenda and Annette Plaskett, Cheryl Griffin, Irmajean Davis, Brenda-Gail Joseph, Ena Simmonds, Sara Christiansen, Debra Rhymer , Stacy Plaskett Small Esq., Cynthia Laurencin, Alissa John, Yulette George and Nikki Plaskett.
He is also survived by nephews; David LaFranque, Uriel Codrington, Earl Williams Slater, Delroy Rhymer, Clifford Rhymer, Eugene Rhymer, Gregory Plaskett, Terrance, Lloyd, Anthony, Lawrence, Leroy, George, Daryl, Craig, Ulric III, Daniel Plaskett, Lt. Col Victor John, Andrew John, Lloyd Davis, Reuben George, Jermaine George and Alric Simmonds MD; great nieces: Dana Murray, Celine and Nyah Robinson, Courtney and Camille Davis, Marissa Hartsfield, Victoria, Michela Laurencin and Jade George; and great nephews: Darren Edwards, Travis Smalls, David LaFranque Jr., Andie LaFranque, Cornell Hartsfield, Alex, Andre, Jamal John, Cato Laurencin, Noble and Royal Marshall, Dakari and Steffon George, and Jede George.

A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 8, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Christiansted Cemetery
