EAST: Red Hook Shoreline Cleanup

Red Hook Salt Pond St. Thomas

The Environmental Association of St. Thomas-St. John (EAST) will be sponsoring a Coast Week shoreline cleanup of the Red Hook Salt Pond. Participants will meet at 9 a.m. near the pond access road, located north of the marine terminal. EAST will provide data cards, garbage bags, gloves water and snacks. (call 201-9993 for info)

Interfaith Wellness Festival

The Interfaith Wellness Festival will celebrate Peace, Joy, Unity and Diversity. The festival is a collaboration of Virgin Islands Clergy Peace Coalition, the Interfaith Council of the Caribbean, and the UVI Center for the Study of Spirituality and Professionalism. Admission is free.

Prostate Cancer Awareness Walk

In observation of September as Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, Lt. Gov. Osbert E. Potter will host a free walk. Refreshments, prostate cancer information and material, Zumba exercises, and biometrics screenings will be offered to participants at the conclusion of the walk. Participants are asked to wear baby blue in support of prostate cancer awareness.
