Motor Yacht “All IN” became the first champion at the Christmas Cornhole Championship (Battle of the Yacht Series) Friday, Dec. 20, at The Oasis, the new outdoor retreat at Crown Bay Marina. Over two dozen crew members from five yachts participated in the first cornhole competition, the marina announced.
“It was a grand success. We provided a home away from home atmosphere with games, a cookout and outdoor retreat for crew who couldn’t go home for the holidays,” Kosei Ohno, Crown Bay Marina owner, said.

The final match came down to the 11th and sudden death inning, where Christos Retardos (“All In” Team) broke the tie with a game-winning, “clean cornhole” (a bag that lands right in the hole, scoring 3 points). First prize was a $100 gift certificate to Island favorite Scoops & Brew and bragging rights for the rest of the yachting season, according to the press release.

In addition to the great work by the Crown Bay Marina staff officiating the competition, this event would not have been successful without the lead party organizers Johann and Llew from M/Y “Fore Aces” and contributing gourmet chefs from M/Y “ALL IN” and other participating yachts, the press release stated.
